Jose Ramirez began his career as an art direction intern at Zimmerman Advertising in 2015. By late 2016, he transitioned to Republica Havas—back when it was just Republica. It was there that "Broken Crayons," an anti-child abuse initiative, gained the agency its first taste of global recognition.

Following that, he moved to Orlando to join Disney's Yellow Shoes, the in-house agency for Disney Parks and Resorts. At Disney, it was all about pushing big ideas through small cracks. Notable projects included "Pixar Street View," which took Pixar's Easter egg tradition to a new place, and "After Disney," which promoted a day at the parks by focusing on the car ride home.

In January 2020, Jose joined GUT Miami as a senior creative, diving deep into pop culture and "reactvertising." His first major success came in his very first month with "That Look From Popeyes," earning the GUT Network its first-ever Cannes Lions. He was promoted to Associate Creative Director in 2021 and went on to lead the prototype for GUT Miami’s content department in 2022, overseeing a team focused on reacting to pop culture for GUT’s social AORs.

Since early 2023, Jose has served as a Creative Director at GUT. For Super Bowl 58, he spearheaded Google Pixel's "Javier in Frame," the first Super Bowl ad directed by a blind filmmaker, using practical visuals to bring a blind person's experience to life. He also launched the global platform for Stella Artois, "A Taste Worth More," where David Beckham was transformed into a hand model so the beer could take center stage.

Today, Jose passionately leads a team in the pursuit of bold, undeniable ideas for iconic brands across every platform.
